3. Information We Collect

We do not directly collect personal information from players through our own servers.

The game may process the following limited information depending on the features enabled in the Meta platform:

Data type How it is used Where it is stored
Local save data Used to save game progress, inventory, campaign progress, settings, and similar gameplay state. Stored locally on the player’s Meta Quest device.
VR gameplay input Headset position, controller position, movement input, and hand/controller actions are processed to make VR gameplay work. Processed locally during gameplay. We do not send this data to our own servers.
Meta platform information If Meta login, entitlement checks, leaderboards/rankings, achievements, or cloud-related platform features are enabled, Meta may provide or process basic platform data such as a Meta user ID, display name, entitlement status, achievement state, leaderboard score, or cloud save data. Handled through Meta platform services. We do not store this data on our own external servers.

4. Information We Do Not Collect

Mine Voxterra does not collect or use the following through our own systems:

5. How We Use Information

Any information processed by the game is used only to provide and support gameplay features, including:

We do not sell personal information.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not share player personal information with third-party advertisers, analytics providers, or external backend providers.

When Meta platform features are used, information may be processed by Meta according to Meta’s own terms and privacy policies. Players should review the privacy settings and privacy information provided by Meta for their Meta account and Quest device.

7. Internet Connection

Mine Voxterra does not require an active internet connection for normal single-player gameplay. Some optional platform features, such as Meta login, achievements, rankings, or cloud-related functionality, may require Meta platform connectivity if enabled.

8. Data Retention

Local save data remains on the player’s device until the player deletes the game, clears the game data, resets the device, or otherwise removes the saved data through device or platform tools.

Data associated with Meta platform services is handled according to Meta’s retention practices and the player’s Meta account settings.

9. Deleting Your Data

Players can delete local gameplay data by removing the game data from their Meta Quest device or uninstalling the game.

To request deletion of data that we can reasonably access or control, contact us at leafandlightstudio@gmail.com. Because we do not operate our own external servers, some data related to Meta platform features may need to be managed through Meta account settings or Meta support.

10. Children’s Privacy

Mine Voxterra is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the request.

11. Security

We use a data-minimization approach and avoid operating external systems that store player information. Players should also keep their Meta Quest device, Meta account, and game software updated to help protect their information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update it, we will change the “Last updated” date above. The current version will remain available on this page.
