This Privacy Policy applies to Rumblekin VR (the “Game”), developed and published by Leaf & Light Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Information processed by the Game
The Game processes controller and headset tracking data in real time so that movement, hands, collisions, comfort features, and interactions work. This sensor data is used during play and is not recorded or transmitted to Leaf & Light Studio by the release build described here.
The Game stores the following information locally on your device:
- a randomly generated local profile identifier;
- game progress, scores, achievements, unlocked content, and run history;
- audio, haptics, movement, comfort, handedness, and calibration settings; and
- height, arm-span, and floor-offset values entered or derived during VR calibration.
This local data is used only to save progress, restore settings, and provide the requested VR experience.
2. Development and test diagnostics
Development builds may create a diagnostic file on the device containing a timestamp, Unity version, device model, operating system, graphics device, frame timing, memory use, draw calls, triangle counts, and dropped-frame measurements. This diagnostic file stays on the device unless a tester deliberately exports and sends it to us. We use voluntarily supplied diagnostics only to test compatibility, comfort, stability, and performance.
3. Meta platform services
Distribution through the Meta Horizon Store and required platform services, such as entitlement verification, may cause Meta to process account, device, purchase, or usage information under Meta’s own privacy terms. Leaf & Light Studio does not control Meta’s independent processing. The Game does not use Meta platform data for advertising or sell it.
4. This website
This is a static informational website. We do not place cookies, run forms, or install advertising or analytics trackers on it. The hosting provider may process ordinary request data, such as IP address and browser information, under its own privacy terms to deliver and secure the website.
5. Sharing, sale, and advertising
We do not sell personal information. The release described by this policy contains no third-party advertising and does not share local gameplay or calibration data with data brokers, advertising networks, or analytics providers.
6. Retention and deletion
Local game data remains on the device until you delete the Game’s application data or uninstall the Game. You can delete it through the device’s app/storage controls. Because the public release does not upload this data to Leaf & Light Studio, we cannot remotely access or delete the local copy.
If you voluntarily sent us a development diagnostic or support message, email leafandlightcontac@gmail.com and request deletion. Include enough information for us to identify your submission. We will delete the material from our active records unless we must retain it for legal or security reasons. Data controlled independently by Meta must be managed through Meta’s account and privacy controls.
7. Children’s privacy
The Game does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has voluntarily sent personal information to us, they may contact us at the email below to request deletion.
8. Security
Local save files are protected by the security controls of your device and platform. When information is voluntarily sent to us, we use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect it. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Game’s features or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be reflected before the affected feature is released.
