Refill feeders, carry water, clean the coop, repair equipment and keep every bird comfortable. A calm, well-fed hen is a productive hen.

“What did my chickens lay today?”
A cozy VR farm where you raise a flock of ridiculous, expressive chickens, collect every egg with your own two hands, and chase the rarest reward on the farm — the Golden Egg.

01 · The pitch
Golden Egg Rush is a cozy VR pet-care and management game inspired by the emotional pull of virtual pets. Every chicken has its own personality, needs and behaviour.
Care for your animals, upgrade the coop and you raise the odds of producing valuable eggs — with the extremely rare Golden Egg as the farm's ultimate prize.
The experience is built around two long-term goals: helping every player reach the milestone of finding their first Golden Egg, and then keeping them coming back to build stronger flocks, collect more Golden Eggs and climb the rankings.
02 · Core loop
Nothing here happens through a menu. You walk into the coop, you reach in, and you find out what the flock produced.
Refill feeders, carry water, clean the coop, repair equipment and keep every bird comfortable. A calm, well-fed hen is a productive hen.
Overnight, condition, level, personality and traits all feed into what each nest holds in the morning. Or doesn't.
Physically move the hen aside and check the nest yourself. Rotten, standard, premium — or, very rarely, gold.
Sort eggs into cartons and sell them for income, or put the hatchable ones in the incubator and wait to meet whoever comes out.
03 · The hook
Every visit to the coop is a small lottery. A nest may hold a rotten egg, a standard egg, a premium egg or — in extremely rare cases — a Golden Egg.
You have to walk up to each nest, move the chicken and look for yourself. That single question is what pulls you back tomorrow.
Leave an egg in the incubator overnight and come back to meet a brand new bird with its own sex, rarity, personality, traits and look.
You name every chicken you hatch, which quietly turns procedural stats into a pet with a story.
04 · The pets
Each bird is born with a rarity, a sex and a personality. Those traits drive behaviour and performance — stress, appetite, water use, egg quantity, egg quality, and the odds of rotten, premium or Golden Eggs.

Spooks easily, burns through condition faster and is first out the door when something goes wrong.

Moves slowly and drains feed and water at an alarming rate. Worth it, sometimes.

Guards the nest and flatly refuses to show you the egg. You will have to negotiate.

Rarely leaves the nesting area. Low maintenance, low drama, low mileage.

Slips out after dark. Expect a torchlit search and a very undignified carry home.

The uncommon personalities are the valuable ones — real production advantages, including better Golden Egg odds.
Level, rarity, personality, condition, egg history and lifetime production — every chicken keeps its own record. Feed them, hold them, pet them, calm them down. Close-range VR interaction is what makes them feel like pets instead of spreadsheet rows.
Chickens can be lost for good. That is the whole point: protecting the rare bird you spent weeks raising is a real responsibility, and the reason a bad night actually stings.
05 · Egg system
Pick them up, carry them, drop them, throw them, break them. Eggs come in three types and three sizes, and size affects selling price, hatchling rarity and how much damage a rotten one does.
The prestige collectible. The rarest hatchable ones can produce the ultimate pet: the Mythic Golden Chicken.
You found one! Now do it in VR.
Premium size
The big ones. Higher selling price and better odds on the traits of whatever hatches.
Standard
Your daily income. With a rooster in the coop, normal eggs also have a chance to be hatchable.
Spoiled
Worthless — and contagious if stored badly. Excellent for throwing at things and creating a mess you have to clean.
Eggs have to be collected, sorted, placed and stored in cartons by hand. Valuable eggs get sold, hatchable eggs go into incubators, and anything left near a spoiled egg is at risk.
Drop an egg and it breaks. That single rule gives even routine chores weight.

Carton06 · The coop
The coop gives you a clear read on the flock's condition, resources and productivity — but the important actions stay physical. You go in, you handle the birds, you check every nest one at a time.

Chicken catcher
Refilling reservoirs, drawing water from the well, restocking food, repairing equipment, arranging comfort items — the daily routine is built out of clear, satisfying physical interactions.
Petting and holding a chicken is not decoration either. It lowers stress, improves condition and builds affinity, which loops straight back into what ends up in the nest.
And when a frightened bird bolts out of the coop, nobody fixes it for you. You go find it, calm it down and carry it home.
07 · Day & night
08 · Progression
Get a functional farm running and produce your very first Golden Egg. That first one can land on day one — it is partly luck, and that is the fun.
Reinvest egg income into better feed, upgraded equipment, coop expansions and comfort items, then optimise the flock for volume and rarity.
Farms are scored on the quantity, quality and rarity of what they produce — and individual chickens are ranked on lifetime performance of their own.
09 · After launch
Christmas, New Year, Easter, Halloween, Day of the Dead and each of the four seasons — unique textures, decorations and collectibles.
Free content
Events are free for everyone, with an optional Premium Season Pass on the Meta Store for players who want the extra track.
Expansion
Plant, irrigate and harvest crops for higher-quality grain. Better feed, better flock, better odds — without invalidating base-game progress.
Chasing a runaway chicken at night, breaking up a flock dispute, rescuing a bird from somewhere it absolutely should not be — the unscripted moments are the ones people record. The game is designed to keep generating them.
10 · From the build
Work in progressCaptured in the current development build on Meta Quest. Art, UI and layout are all still moving — this is what the farm looks like today, not at launch.
